Mr. Yund graduated from Bowling Green State University in December of 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Education and a minor in History. He received his Master of Education in 2011 from Ashland University. He has been a fifth grade teacher at Xenos Christian Scoools since 2004.

He married his beautiful wife Allison in December of 2002. They have three children:  Max, Carleigh, and Wyatt.

Mr. Yund loves the outdoors.  He enjoys fishing (especially fly fishing), hunting, hiking, birding, and camping. He is a fanatic and slightly delusional Cleveland Sports Fan. He has a long standing and complicated relationship with his beloved Cleveland Browns.

He and his wife both belong to Xenos Christian Fellowship where they help lead a home group Bible study in the North Columbus area.  In 2012, they both help found a ministry called Renegade 29 which serves urban youth in North Columbus.  

He loves a good book. His favorite author is C.S. Lewis. His favorite books are C.S. Lewis's Mere Christianity  and Timothy Keller's The Prodigal God. His favorite book series is The Wingfeather Saga by Andrew Peterson.
